St Stephen's, Kingston Lacy

Situated near Pamphill Common, this lovely Arts and Crafts church was built in 1908 by the Bankes family of Kingston Lacy House as their place of worship.  Nearby are Harry's Walk, Pamphill Dairy Farm Shop, Pamphill First School and of course Kingston Lacy House and Grounds, now in the care of the National Trust.

Unsurprisingly, St Stephen's is one of the most popular churches in Dorset for weddings.  It is very photogenic and has ample parking, with turning space for the biggest limo or even a double-decker bus!

The communities of Sturminster Marshall, Kingston Lacy and Shapwick produce a monthly magazine, The Bridge, which is delivered to over a thousand households in the area.  You can read the October edition here.

September's edition is still available here.

Coronavirus update

Our churches are now open for a number of adapted, socially-distanced services.

The church is still active in the community and we are still praying.
